The nearest major airport to Matheran is Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) in Mumbai, Maharashtra. You can take a flight from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi to Mumbai Airport. From Mumbai, you can reach Matheran by road. The distance between Mumbai and Matheran is around 80 kilometers. You can hire a taxi or take a local train to Neral Railway Station from Mumbai and then proceed to Matheran via a toy train or by road.

By Train:

There are no direct trains to Matheran. The nearest railway station to Matheran is Neral Railway Station.
